Carbo Activatus
Activated is a naturally black colorant that adds additional cleansing properties to soap.
Ricinus communis (Castor) Seed Oil
Castor seed oil is a humectant and adds a rich and stable lather to soap.
Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter
Cocoa butter is skin-loving with a chocolate-like aroma. Using this butter elevates the quality of soap and adds hardness. The cocoa butter used is fair trade and ethically sourced.
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil
Coconut oil gives soap great cleansing properties, bubbly lather, and hardness.
Avena Sativa Kernel Flour
Colloidal oatmeal is made from oat kernels that have been ground into a super fine powder. This adds a smooth feel and gentle exfoliation to the soap.
Cotton wicks have been traditionally used in candles for 100s of years because they are reliable and produce a consistent burn that disperses fragrance. Our wicks are lead-free.
Distilled from herbs, flowers, and plants, essential oils are a natural option for scenting soap. The essential oils used in our soap is 100% pure and skin-safe.
Fragrance oils are what give our soap their amazing scents. Our fragrances are often a blend of fragrance and essential oils and are always made with high-quality aroma components. All our fragrances are non-tox meaning they're free of carcinogens, mutagens, phthalates, and other hazardous toxins.
Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil
Olive oil adds richness and a creamy lather to soap. Olive oil also helps balance the cleansing properties of the coconut oil to ensure that the bars are gentle on skin.
Mica is a powdered mineral that's used as a colorant in soap. The mica we use has been refined in a lab to ensure purity and combined with pigments. This mica is also ethically sourced.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter) Fruit
Shea butter is a luxurious ingredient in soap. This butter enhances the quality of soap and makes the bars gentler. The shea butter we use is fair trade and ethically sourced.
Sodium hydroxide saponifies all the oils and butters to turn them into soap. Soap cannot be made without this. No sodium hydroxide remains in the final product.
Sodium lactate is a liquid salt that's added to soap to make the bars harder and longer lasting. It's derived from sugars such as beets and corn.
Soy wax is a renewable and sustainable resource. It burns cleanly and slowly in soy candles. The wax we use is produced from soy beans grown in the US.

Distilled water is used to dissolve sodium hydroxide and turn it into lye so that it can interact with the oils and butter to turn them into soap.
